Before the Threshold
For a connection that isn't an affair, isn't a friendship, and still matters. The threshold is a place, not a sentence.
- For when someone occupies your mind far more than what has actually happened between you.
- 21 days of short daily practices, about 10–15 minutes each, plus a longer anchor at the end of each week.
- It doesn't build alibis and it doesn't ask you for a decision. It gives you clarity, and decisions come easier from there.
You might recognize this
- You might recognize this: "Nothing happened." "We're just talking." Words that make it smaller than it is.
- This person's place in your mind is out of proportion to what has actually happened.
- You're living something intense without naming it, so it won't ask you for a decision.
- You're hurting, but the hurt doesn't feel entitled to exist.
What can change
Over 21 days, little by little, you can begin to:
- Name what this is, without minimizing it.
- Understand which need it meets and which old pattern it woke up.
- Get back the clarity you lost to "it's nothing".
- Look at the three real roads, ending it, redefining it, or crossing the threshold, with your eyes open.
What's inside
Three movements over 21 days. Recognition: we name what this is, without minimizing it. Settling: which need it meets, which pattern it reactivated. Choice: the three real roads and what each one costs. Each day has an anchor thought, a writing exercise, a micro-somatic practice, a journal prompt and a check-in. It draws on Esther Perel's work on modern infidelity, attachment theory (Bowlby, Hazan and Shaver), Albert Bandura's moral disengagement, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Steven Hayes) and expressive writing (James Pennebaker).

This is not for you if
- If you're looking for a tool to justify the connection or to build alibis. Here we work with clarity, not excuses.
- If you hope it will tell you how to make someone choose you, or how to cross the threshold.
- If the other person has power over you (a therapist, doctor, teacher, boss). That needs a licensed professional.
- If you or the other person are a minor.
About Florentin
Florentin Iordache is one of Romania's best-known voices on relationships and infidelity — a regular guest on national television and on podcasts, and the host of his own shows about couples, betrayal and the patterns we repeat in love. He is an alternative therapist in Bucharest who works with individuals and couples; he is not a psychologist. in his work, the same thing kept happening. A real insight in one conversation — and then six days alone with it. Between one honest conversation and the next, the old pattern keeps working in your place; it doesn't take breaks. The protocols are what he wrote for those days in between: a few minutes a day, written in advance, so you don't wake up asking “and now what do I do with this?” They don't replace a person beside you. They keep you company until then.
