Where are you right now?
An affair rarely leaves just one person hurting. Someone found out. Someone did the hiding. Someone is trying to end something no one knew about. Sometimes two people want to look at it together. Each place asks for different things, so each has its own protocol. Start with the one that describes where you are today.
The Third Story
For you if you've decided to end a hidden relationship and are grieving a loss no one around you can see.
See the protocol →After I Hurt You
For you if you cheated and want to own it honestly, without minimizing it and without destroying yourself.
See the protocol →The House That Shook
For you if you've found out your partner was cheating and the ground has moved under your feet.
See the protocol →After the Affair
For a couple who went through infidelity and have both chosen to look at it together.
See the protocol →Before the Threshold
For you if you're drawn to someone and "nothing happened", yet it fills your days and your nights.
See the protocol →The Second Shore
For you if you love someone who is married or already committed, and you want to see clearly where you stand.
See the protocol →Florentin on TV and podcasts
Short moments from his appearances on Romanian television and podcasts, with English subtitles. Each one speaks to a different place in the triangle.
About the author
Florentin Iordache is one of Romania's best-known voices on relationships and infidelity — a regular guest on national television and on podcasts, and the host of his own shows about couples, betrayal and the patterns we repeat in love. He is an alternative therapist in Bucharest who works with individuals and couples; he is not a psychologist.
Why he created these protocols: in his work, the same thing kept happening. A real insight in one conversation — and then six days alone with it. Between one honest conversation and the next, the old pattern keeps working in your place; it doesn't take breaks. The protocols are what he wrote for those days in between: a few minutes a day, written in advance, so you don't wake up asking “and now what do I do with this?” They don't replace a person beside you. They keep you company until then.
One page, four doors. None of them is a cure, and none of them makes a decision for you. They give you a daily structure, words for what you're living through, and tools you keep. They are not therapy or psychological counseling. If you're not sure which one fits, read the first lines of each and choose the one that sounds like your week.
If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or find a free, confidential helpline at findahelpline.com.
