The Second Shore
Alone, but in a relationship. For anyone who loves someone who isn't free, and deserves to look at it clearly.
- For when the person you love has a home you don't live in and holidays you're not invited to.
- 21 days of short daily practices, about 10–15 minutes each, plus a longer anchor at the end of each week.
- It doesn't judge you, it doesn't make you a victim, and it doesn't tell you what to do.
You might recognize this
- You might recognize this: you live joys you can't tell anyone about.
- You wait for messages, for hours, for scraps, and feel guilty for waiting.
- You quietly wonder where you stand in all of this.
- You're an adult with reasons you know better than anyone, and you deserve room to look at them in the light, not in shame.
What can change
Over 21 days, little by little, you can begin to:
- Name what you're living, without shame and without lying to yourself.
- Look honestly at what this love really costs.
- See clearly the three roads in front of you.
- Come back to your relationship with yourself, the one that stays whichever way you choose.
What's inside
Three movements over 21 days. Clarity: naming what you're living, without shame. Truth: looking honestly at the costs. Decision: the three real roads and the questions that help with each. Each day has an anchor thought, a writing exercise, a micro-somatic practice, a journal prompt and a check-in where you rate your clarity from 0 to 10. It draws on Kenneth Doka's work on disenfranchised grief, attachment theory and expressive writing.

This is not for you if
- If there is abuse in the relationship, or you're having thoughts of harming yourself: please get help first. This workbook can wait.
- If you want a method to make them leave their partner. This is about your clarity, not their choice.
- If the other person has power over you (a boss, a therapist, a spiritual guide).
- If you want a replacement for therapy or medical care.
About Florentin
Florentin Iordache is one of Romania's best-known voices on relationships and infidelity — a regular guest on national television and on podcasts, and the host of his own shows about couples, betrayal and the patterns we repeat in love. He is an alternative therapist in Bucharest who works with individuals and couples; he is not a psychologist. in his work, the same thing kept happening. A real insight in one conversation — and then six days alone with it. Between one honest conversation and the next, the old pattern keeps working in your place; it doesn't take breaks. The protocols are what he wrote for those days in between: a few minutes a day, written in advance, so you don't wake up asking “and now what do I do with this?” They don't replace a person beside you. They keep you company until then.
Questions
Will it tell me what to do about the relationship?
No. You don't necessarily finish with a final decision. You finish with more clarity, whichever road you choose.
Is this therapy?
No. This is not therapy or psychological counseling. It is an educational, self-guided practice, and it does not replace working with a licensed professional.
How long each day? What if I miss a day?
About 10–15 minutes. If you miss a day, pick up where you left off. The PDF is yours to keep.
What shows on my bank statement?
Your bank statement shows the seller's name, not the title of the protocol.
